Jennifer Sullivan, Esq. has worked for over a decade as the New Jersey State Director of Advocacy for the American Cancer Society, Eastern Division.  In this role she led the state government relations team for the American Cancer Society in New Jersey.  Accomplishments during her tenure, include state laws mandating colorectal cancer screening coverage, improved pain access, and smoke-free public places and workplaces.

She has also helped form and lead coalitions of non-profit agencies to expand access to healthcare in New Jersey, and fight for tobacco control measures.

She has presented numerous trainings to Boards of Directors and volunteers on effective lobbying as well as specific advocacy issues, like state implementation of health care reform in New Jersey.  In addition, she has served as an advocacy expert on numerous panel presentations.

Prior to her work with the American Cancer Society, Jennifer worked in various positions for the NJ Department of Banking and Insurance.  A licensed attorney in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania, Jennifer received her law degree from Rutgers School of Law-- Camden, NJ and her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, IN.
